  • Four exits, #42, #44, #45 and #46 provide access to Searcy from US Highway 67/167.

Exit #44 provides direct access into the industrial area from the four-lane US Highway 67/167.

Wal-Mart Distribution Center has 60 trucks per day, five days per week, (Monday - Friday) traveling over US Highway 64 toward Memphis and 10 trucks per day on Saturday and Sunday.

Searcy is located less than one hour north of the Interstate 30 and 40 interchange at Little Rock. The 50 miles are quickly covered via four-lane, divided US Highway 67/167. Memphis is a two hour drive east on US Highway 64.

Waterways

The nearest deep water ocean port is the Port of New Orleans, located 592 water miles to the south. However, Searcy lies near the White and Arkansas Rivers, parts of the McClellan-Kerr Inland Waterway Navigation System. The nearest White River port is located at Augusta, approximately 30 miles away. The nearest Arkansas River port is located at Little Rock, a mere fifty miles away. The Port of Little Rock is a fully developed commercial port and includes its own railway system.

Airports

The Searcy Municipal Airport has 6,000 feet of lighted asphalt runways. Both Jet A and 100 Low Lead Fuel are available on-site. Local charter services are available. The Little Rock and Memphis commercial airports are nearby, offering freight and passenger services to U.S. and international destinations.

Little Rock National Airport

Little Rock National Airport is located 50 miles south of Searcy, an easy drive over the four-lane U.S. Highway 67/167. Simultaneous take-offs and landings of commercial aircraft are now possible through a recent expansion. There are 90 departures and arrivals daily.

Four fixed-base operators, single and multiengine planes, radio communications, radar, flight control and major repair, and service facilities are available.

Memphis International Airport: Memphis, TN

The Memphis International Airport is located 100 miles from Searcy. It is a full-service international airport served by 7 commercial airlines. Expansion is currently underway to improve non-stop capability to Europe and Asia. In addition to commercial carriers, local charter service is available.
